Terms of use

The terms on which this website is made available to you. By using it, you accept them.

Updated 2 September 2026 Independent · not financial advice

Last updated 2 September 2026.

1. Agreement

These terms govern your access to and use of the website at bitcoinetf.directory, operated by BitcoinETF Directory ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the site you agree to be bound by them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

They should be read alongside our disclaimer and our privacy policy, both of which form part of these terms.

2. What this site is

This is an independent information and reference website about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange-traded products and about buying crypto assets. It is published for general informational and educational purposes only.

We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, investment company, bank, money services business, fund manager, tax adviser or law firm, and we are not registered with the SEC, FINRA, the CFTC, the FCA or any equivalent authority. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal or financial advice, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or digital asset, or a personal recommendation of any kind. The disclaimer sets this out in full, and it is important.

3. Eligibility and jurisdiction

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use this site. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the site and any action you take as a result is lawful in your jurisdiction. Nothing here is directed at any person in any place where publishing or accessing it would breach local law, and the products described are not available or suitable for everyone everywhere.

4. Permitted use

You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source page. You may not:

If you would like to use our reference data in a product or publication, write to contact@bitcoinetf.directory — we are generally willing to discuss it.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, editorial analysis, page structure, design, graphics, logos and the compilation of data — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo and branding are ours.

Fund names, ticker symbols, company names and trademarks belonging to third parties are the property of their respective owners. We use them for identification, reference and commentary only. Nothing on this site implies any affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from any of them.

Individual facts — a ticker, a fee, a listing venue — are not owned by anyone and we make no claim over them. Our rights subsist in the selection, arrangement, verification and expression of that material.

6. Accuracy and availability

We take sourcing seriously and our methodology page explains how we work. Even so, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

Fund data changes constantly. Fees change, waivers expire, sponsors rename and restrategise funds, and some information here is sourced from third parties and clearly labelled as such. Always verify anything material against the fund's own current prospectus before acting on it. We do not undertake to keep the site available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

7. Third-party links and commercial arrangements

This site links to external websites, including regulators, exchanges, fund sponsors and trading venues. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Some outbound links are commercial: if you open an account with a linked provider we may receive a fee. Those links carry a rel="nofollow noopener" attribute. Any dealings you have with a third party are solely between you and them, on their terms, and we accept no liability arising from them. Check for yourself whether any provider is authorised to serve customers in your jurisdiction before depositing money.

8. Your decisions are your own

You are solely responsible for any investment or financial decision you make. Crypto assets and the products that track them are volatile and you can lose some or all of your money. You should obtain independent advice from a suitably licensed professional before acting. Read the risk warning in full.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BitcoinETF Directory, its operators, contributors and suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind — including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data or investment losses — arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything published on it, whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms, permission requests and corrections all go to contact@bitcoinetf.directory. See also our about page and our contact page.
